It can be very difficult to tell them apart! ASAP Restoration LLC works for you! Please beware of so called "Preferred Contractors" recommended by insurance companies! Very often, these companies already have a contract with your insurance company. These vendors are working for your insurance company, NOT YOU! When you choose ASAP Restoration LLC, you choose a company that works on your behalf! Our customers are our first priority and we put your best interests first. While we are well known and respected by insurance companies and adjusters, we don't have contracts with any of them!

Things you should know about “Preferred Contractors”


Insurance companies use what is known today as a “Preferred Contractor Program”. Initially, these programs were a way for insurance companies to provide an additional service for their customers and these programs referred only the most qualified contractors. Today, however, many insurance companies "prefer" these companies because they will cut corners and compromise the quality of your work in exchange for another referral down the road!

BEWARE! This is very common in the emergency restoration industry! Cutting corners on a water damage claim is a great way for an insurer to save money, and most of the time the customer never knows! You have the right to choose a restoration company that you trust!

If your insurance company wants to send out one of their "Preferred Contractors," do yourself a favor and get an opinion from a contractor not affiliated with your insurance company. In many cases these contractual relationships are hidden from the customer! Know your rights and bring in a consultant who wants to work for you, not the insurance company!
